Leifheit AG / Dividend09.06.2010 10:37Dissemination of an Ad hoc announcement according to § 15 WpHG, transmitted byDGAP - a company of EquityStory AG.The issuer is solely responsible for the content of this announcement.---------------------------------------------------------------------------Nassau/Lahn, 09 June 2010  - In its meeting today, the Supervisory Boarddecided to submit a modified proposal for the appropriation of earnings totoday's annual general meeting, under item 2 on the agenda.In contrast to the management proposal for the appropriation of the 2009earnings as announced in the electronic Federal Gazette on 29 April 2010,the Board of Management and Supervisory Board are now submitting thefollowing motion to the annual general meeting: 'From the company'searnings in the 2009 financial year of EUR 17,461,004.13, a dividend of EUR0.60 and an additional special dividend of EUR 2.40 - i.e. EUR 3.00 in all- shall be distributed to shareholders for each share entitled to dividend,involving a total of EUR 14,249,628.00 for the 4,749,876 shares. Theremaining EUR 3,211,376.13 is carried forward.'Previously, the proposed dividend was EUR 0.60 a share, which would havedistributed a total of EUR 2.8 million of the 2009 earnings. The additionalspecial dividend of EUR 2.40 is intended to enable shareholders toparticipate in the proceeds of the sale of the spirella brand. Currently,the company has liquid assets of c. EUR 46 million, which are available forthe distribution. In view of Leifheit AG's excellent financial situation,the company will still have liquid assets of c.
