Nassau - 13 April 2010 - At its meeting today, the Supervisory Board of
Leifheit AG approved the annual financial statements and consolidated
financial statements for the 2009 financial year. EBIT increased sharply to
EUR 8.1 million (previous year: EUR 5.2 million). The result for the period
increased to EUR 3.1 million (previous year: EUR 0.4 million).

The Board of Management and Supervisory Board are proposing a dividend of
EUR 0.60 per share to the Annual General Meeting.

The company is publishing details on the annual financial statements and
2009 annual financial report tomorrow (14 April 2010) at 8:30 a.m.
