Leifheit increases result in the first quarter of 2015 and raises earnings
forecast for the financial year 2015


Nassau, Germany, 29 April, 2015 - Leifheit has realized earnings before
interest and taxes (EBIT) of EUR 7.5 million in the first quarter of 2015
(Q1/2014: EUR 4.0 million). The EBIT adjusted for the foreign exchange
result amounts to EUR 4.3 million (Q1/2014: EUR 3.9 million). Due to the
development of the US dollar at the end of the quarter the foreign exchange
result amounts to EUR 3.2 million (Q1 2014: EUR 0.1 million).

The results for the first quarter of 2015 are preliminary. The quarterly
financial report as at 31 March 2015 will be published on 12 May 2015.

Against the background of the EBIT development in the first quarter of 2015
Leifheit today has adjusted its earnings forecast for the full financial
year 2015. On the assumption of an unchanged US dollar exchange rate at the
end of the year compared to 31 March 2015 Leifheit expects an increase in
EBIT to about 19 to EUR 20 million. So far, group earnings amounting to the
adjusted previous years result were assumed (2014: EUR 16.4 million).

The turnover forecast for 2015 remains unchanged: On group level Leifheit
expects turnover growth of 2 to 3%.
